I’m a researcher based at the National Centre for Cyberstalking Research (NCCR). We are currently working on a research focusing on the scope and impact of cyber victimisation on people with long term conditions and disabilities in the UK. We are looking at any form of negative online communication via social media, online forums, phone calls or instant messaging, this includes: cyberharrasment, cyberstalking, cyberbullying, trolling, cyber-disability hate incidents or crimes.
The discrimination against people with disabilities is documented, and the use of online communication has brought new means of victimisation. We are working with a number of official organisations and charities to support victims of cyber abuse. In order to improve support available to victims (health and police support) we need to hear from people who went through such experiences.

Whether you experienced cyber-victimisation or not, if you are 18 or older, residing in the UK, and having a long term condition/disability, please help us by filling this survey:

Participants will be given a free copy of our NCCR eBook “A practical Guide to Coping with Cyberstalking. On longer term, we aim to use results to increase awareness and improve channels of support available.

All the information you provide will be anonymous and confidential.
